10 Cane Rum is one of our favorite super-premium rums in the store. This small batch rum is made from first pressed sugar cane juice and distilled twice in copper pot stills. 10 Cane Rum is then aged in French oak barrels for about six months which impart the rum with it's gold tint and give the sweet rum flavors a firm wood base.
Why is it called 10 Cane? Because typically when sugar cane is harvested, they gather it in bundles of 10. In addition, it takes ten canes of sugar to make a single bottle of 10 Cane Rum. Clever, right?
